I started down the photography path because of my interest in astronomy as a child. My step-father had been a hobbyist photographer with a darkroom and shelves of photography books. I would read through them and my interest grew. I took my first formal photography class in eight grade. We built pinhole cameras and I finished mine first. The teacher asked me to make one of a different size, so I made one about the size of a 110 camera, if you can remember those! The teacher asked if could get my hands on a 35mm camera and my father gave me his old one. I learned to process my own film and how to print from negatives. The teacher told me he would track me down if I ever stopped shooting...lol
In high school, I joined the year book team. I shot the various sports teams and daily ongoings. I won second place for a "School Pride" photo contest and many of my photos are in my year book. Being a photographer also helped me come out of my shell as I was the geeky nerd growing up. My class mates joked even then that would become a photographer to Playboy. Little did they know.
I joined the Navy and got assigned to an F-14 squadron. I did three depolyments to the Mediterranean Sea eventually becoming a Navy Photographer's Mate 3rd class and working on the Tactical Airborne Reconnaissance Pod System (TARPS).
While in the Navy, I was introduced to the gothic/indsutrial scene, so when I got out and moved back to Philadelphia I sought the scene out. It was there I started rubbing shoulders with pro Dommes and learning about the fetish scene. I started out by shooting the events at the local clubs and some concerts. As my name got out there and after some showings of my work, I found myself with plenty of models to work with and grow my work.
I moved to LA in 2004 as the scene there was growing and many of the models I had wanted to work with were based there. I did my first LA show with Mitzi for Katrina help and got to meet some of the big names in fetish and erotica photography. It was during this time I also got some work published internationally.
